"To educate today's world about the lost but not forgotten one room country schools of America!"
Anyone is welcome to call and schedule a private visit anytime!
"On a late fall day in 1895. A teacher stands on the front steps of her one room school, ringing a bell to hurry the students to the door. Soon, the little room fills with children, books and pails in hand. As they shuffle down the rows to find their seats. Her hands are full, as she has to teach arithmetic, language, grammar, writing, physiology and more to a class ranging in age from 5 to 21."
In these programs you can expect to go back into time to the year of 1895! Subjects will include Arithmetic, reading, history and recess. Recess games were taken from a 1909 book using bean bags, thimbles and bandannas.
Books and slates are provided for each student.
